HI. We are visiting next week. Can we bring a snack to enjoy during our Estate Tasting Collection for $45? Is that appropriate to bring a snack or frowned upon? Is there food to purchase other than the $175 food / wine tasting experience? Thank You.

Not only did we taste the best of their best they also brought out a few more exquisite bottles for tasting that weren't on their printed list. A wonderful experience no matter which level of wine you taste there.

There are many. The issue is how close and what are you looking for. We like staying at Indian Springs in Calistoga. It is about 20 minutes drive from Stag's Leap. Duckhorn, and many other great stops are on Silverado on the way. High end hotels like Meadowood and Aubrege de Soliel are really close. Yountville and St Helena are 5 minutes away and there are a variety of places in either city. You have many choices. Pick what you like in your budget it's hard to go wrong. When you are ask Stag's Leap ask for Lucaz, he's great. Enjoy!
