Adam Sandler has made Happy Gilmore 2 a family affair. Not only do the actor's wife and two daughters appear in the movie, but his mom, Judy, also makes a cameo as the mother of Drago Larson ( Boban Marjanovic) — a fitting touch, since she and his dad, Stanley, played a vital role in his love of comedy.

Online, fans were moved by the tribute, which comes six years after Boyce's death. Boyce's mom, Libby Boyce, thanked Sandler for "honoring Cam's legacy" in a joint post with the official Instagram account for the Cameron Boyce Foundation, which funds epilepsy research, education and awareness.
