Los Angeles is still reeling from January’s deadly wildfires — and with the World Cup soccer championships and the 2028 Olympics on the horizon — Mayor Karen Bass has been urging residents to come together to revitalize LA’s image.

Protests that sprang up in Los Angeles over immigration enforcement raids have begun to spread across the country, with more demonstrations planned.

ICE raids are still taking place as protests over those raids continue in Los Angeles. CBS News immigration and politics reporter Camilo Montoya-Galvez has more.
