The Associated Press high school boys basketball rankings for the state of Michigan have been released. Check out the Top 10 rankings for each of the four divisions. Here are the rankings for Feb. 16, 2026, with first-place votes in brackets, plus record and total points in the poll.

First round pairings are set for AHSAA regional basketball tournaments that begin on Tuesday at four sites. Teams advanced after Class 6A-1A played sub-regional games, Friday for girls and Saturday for boys, while the area winner and runner-up from Class 7A went straight to regional play.

The Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans are among NBA teams that feature “6-7” cams during timeouts at some games.

Texas Tech picked up the second-best win of any team this season by taking down top-ranked Arizona in Tucson. ( Iowa State beating Purdue by 23 at Mackey Arena is still my No. 1.) That goes nicely with the Red Raiders' neutral-court win over Duke.

Rivalry games played out across County. Camden-Frontier and Pittsford earned victories. The Academy teams wrapped up SCAA-East titles.
