Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been ruled out of her team's preseason home game against the Washington Mystics on Saturday afternoon with a left leg injury. The injury doesn't appear to be too serious. Clark provided an update to reporters before pregame warmups on Saturday and said she was dealing with "a little tightness."

On Monday afternoon, Indiana announced that it has released both forward Jillian Alleyne and guard Bree Hall. "The Indiana Fever have waived forward Jillian Alleyne and guard Bree Hall, the team announced today," the Fever wrote.

It didn't take long for Clark to become arguably the most popular player in the WNBA. She consistently broke attendance and viewership records during her rookie season in Indiana, just like she did during her time with Iowa.
