A water line break prompted the City of Lewisville to issue a boil water notice Sunday, affecting residents in the middle of the city, officials said.

ISD cancelled Monday classes districtwide and city utility customers were told to boil their water before using it following a water main

The City of Lewisville is telling residents to boil their water before drinking, bathing or cooking because of a water main break.

The notice is not expected to be lifted before Monday afternoon. Because of the notice, several Lewisville ISD facilities have also announced closures.
