Ryan Murphy’s ‘All’s Fair’ is getting dragged in the press, but the bad publicity seems to be bringing in the viewers. The sultry legal drama, starring and also executive produced by Kim Kardashian, has earned Hulu Originals’ biggest scripted series premiere in three years,

Is the Kim Kardashian show actually intentionally bad? In the age of the hate-watch, the truly terrible can do numbers.

Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor and Niecy Nash-Betts fill out the series about an all-female firm of divorce lawyers who represent all-female clients.

The eight-time Oscar nominee poked fun at the scathing critiques of her new series with a hand-drawn sketch featuring her co-stars.

"All's Fair" marks Simpson's first non-reality television role since she starred in "Entourage" in 2010. She also starred in several films in the early 2000s, including "Employee of the Month" in 2006 and "The Dukes of Hazzard" in 2005. Simpson said she was "stunned" when she got the call from Murphy.

Simpson plays Lee-Ann on the widely-panned Hulu show, a role she “disappear[ed] into… with real depth and emotion.”

To get anything out of the new Hulu show (and I certainly think there's reason to watch), this is the mindset we need to have. In a market where so many streamable TV shows want us to think and feel deeply and seriously, All's Fair is the mind-numbing dumbness that many of us are looking for.
