The Tampa Bay Rays placed All-Star first baseman Jonathan Aranda on the 10-day injured list with a fractured left wrist.

First baseman Jonathan Aranda is heading to the 10-day IL with a broken wrist after his scary collision with Giancarlo Stanton during Tampa Bay’s 7-4 loss to the Yankees Thursday in The Bronx. The injury took place in the bottom of the fifth when Stanton chopped a ground ball to third baseman Junior Caminero.
