The New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon at Citi Field. With the win, the Mets ran their impressive early-season record to 18-7 through 25 games. The Phillies dropped to 13-12.

David Peterson was tagged for 15 hard-hit balls as measured by Statcast but kept the Mets in the game by allowing two earned runs over 5 1/3 innings. Peterson surrendered eight hits (all were singles) and he walked one with two strikeouts.

Starling Marte's walk-off RBI single with two outs in the 10th wrapped up the Mets' 4-3 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday and completed a perfect homestand for New York.
