Back in the Manchester City line-up after five weeks out, Erling Haaland may as well have been watching from home against Southampton. Haaland had been an unused substitute last week on his return to the City squad before making his comeback against the joint-worst side in Premier League history.

Although Omar Marmoush only played the final stages of Manchester City’s frustrating nil-all draw with Southampton on Saturday, there’s an argument to be made that he was City’s most dangerous
