Placer County dive team members plan to continue searching for three men who did not resurface after going into the water at Rattlesnake Falls, officials said Thursday. Deputies got a call about a possible drowning in the Soda Springs area just before 3 p.

Deputies were called to Heath Falls in Soda Springs around 3 p.m. for a report of three people who entered the water and did not resurface, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. Officials later clarified that the people had gone missing near Rattlesnake Falls.

June 19, 2025 – Placer County Sheriff’s Office officials report that shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Heath Falls in Soda Springs following reports that three individuals entered the water and did not resurface.
