All five members of the men’s team who competed at the world championships were found to have cheated and have now been suspended, along with their head coach and two staffers.

The skiers tried to find an extra edge to fly farther by adjusting the crotch of their suits. “We regret it like dogs,” the team’s coach said.

Norway was caught red-handed for engaging in blatant crotch cheating at an event over the weekend, when officials were caught adding extra material to the crotch of jumping suits in an effort to make Norwegian athletes soar further in the air. They essentially constructed a crotch sail, modifying pre-approved suits.

Robert Johansson, Robin Pedersen and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal have become the latest Norwegian ski jumpers to be suspended due to manipulated jumpsuits, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) announced on Thursday.

Team officials are accused of altering athletes' suits to enhance their aerodynamics. The suspension by International Ski and Snowboard Federation (IFS) follows last week's FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
