Wayne Memorial’s historic run ended with a loss to East Lansing in the program’s first ever state title game on Saturday.

Cam Hutson remembered just hoping the varsity during his freshman year at East Lansing High School. And once he did, his focus centered on helping the Trojan boys basketball team end its long state title drought.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - East Lansing boys basketball capped off its state tournament run with a Division 1 state title. The Trojans dominated and took down Wayne Memorial with a 66-46 victory on Saturday afternoon at the Breslin Center.
