Once again, AAA is offering free rides to stranded drivers as part of its “Tow to Go” program, according to a news release.
The Tow to Go program is around 25 years old and since it began, it has removed more than 30,000 impaired drivers from the roads. It's free and available to both AAA members and non-members.
The program will run from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 4, to 6 a.m. on Monday, the 7th. AAA will offer a free confidential ride and tow within 10 miles of where they are in the moment they call. It’s available to everyone -- AAA members and non-members. Also, it can’t be scheduled in advance as it’s designed for last-minute situations.
