The U.S. military’s Central Command said on Thursday that a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft that was part of the American war against Iran had crashed in neighboring Iraq. In a statement, Central Command said that an incident involving two aircraft “occurred in friendly airspace,” and one aircraft went down, while the other landed safely.
