US airlines offer refunds, flight changes as FAA reduces traffic
Several airlines at Orlando International Airport (MCO) said they are offering flight changes, re-bookings, cancellations or refunds without penalty to customers affected by the Federal Aviation Administration's decision to reduce air traffic by 10% at 40 airports.

Southwest has not released a list of airports affected by flight reductions. At least five Southwest flights in or out of Indianapolis were canceled for Friday on FlightAware. In most cases, Southwest will rebook passengers automatically, or travelers can proactively book a different flight.
Although not in bankruptcy, Houston-based low-cost carrier Avelo has spent the last year making significant cuts to its network by shutting down bases at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Charles M. Schulz Airport (STS) in California and Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas.
United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said the refund offer was available to any travelers who did not want to fly amidst newly announced restrictions.
