The colorful sign welcoming visitors to Mosquito Beach has been returned after the authorities found it some 250 miles away in a Clemson University dormitory.

The search for a missing ‘Welcome” sign from South Carolina’s Mosquito Beach led to a dorm room at Clemson University, cops say.

The sign, first reported missing on Friday, April 5, was found in a Clemson University dorm room by the Clemson Police Department.
