The wholesale juggernaut is opening six new Costco warehouses in the U.S. and one in Canada by spring, according to the company’s website. The slated openings are in accordance with Costco’s usual expansion strategy of opening 30 new stores every year — half of them in the U.S. and half internationally.

The Forney project is listed as a 161,251-square-foot Costco warehouse at 150 FM 460 with an estimated construction price tag of about $18.6 million. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation,

Costco has demolished an old shopping center and prepared to site to make way for the membership club, liquor store, tire center and gas station.
