The new owners of Kansas City's Country Club Plaza want to own most of the sidewalks within the outdoor shopping center. A proposal presented Tuesday was pushed back to Jan. 7, 2026.

The units will be market rate and could rent for between $1,800 and $2,100, according to information presented to the city.

The center’s holiday lights season was scheduled to wrap up Sunday, but an announcement said the run would be extended.
