The LA Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers have the second game of their 3-game series Saturday at 7:15 p.m. ET in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

After taking two of three from the Padres and enjoying an off day, the Dodgers now are in Milwaukee to start a three-game set with the Brewers. Milwaukee leads the NL Central by 1.5 games over the Chicago Cubs.

It was a rematch of the 2025 NLCS on Friday night at American Family Field, but for the Dodgers, the matchup with the Brewers was all too similar to the forgettable regular-season meetings instead of the memorable games in October that sent Los Angeles to the World Series.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — William Contreras hit a three-run homer and Logan Henderson combined with three relievers on a three-hitter as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 on Friday night.

Before Sunday’s game, the Brewers announced that they have optioned Gasser back to Triple-A. Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 wrote: “Brewers get a fresh arm for today’s game in Carlos Rodriguez and Robert Gasser is optioned after two starts.”

Tuesday night in Milwaukee presented baseball fans with a really fun matchup. The Dodgers were facing the Brewers and that's fun enough, given the standing of both teams currently in the NL playoff picture, but the pitching battle was also a great contrast.
