At least one person has lost their life, while thousands have been left without power as a result of the torrential rain.

"Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. A Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. Saturday for portions of central and northern California," states the NWS San Francisco CA. The warning is in effect until 9:15 a.m.

An updated flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 8:58 a.m. valid from Monday midnight until Wednesday 6 p.m. for Greene, Hale, Marengo and Sumter counties.

An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 10:49 p.m. in effect until Thursday at 2 a.m. for Coosa, Shelby and Talladega counties.

Solano and Yolo counties are the focus of an updated flood warning issued at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday by the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until further notice.

On Sunday at 10:35 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a flood warning in effect until 1:30 p.m. for Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland counties.
