New York Mayor Eric Adams said the NYPD is investigating a brawl that erupted before the main card of UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden.

NEW YORK -- New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani announced Wednesday that the city's current police commissioner, Jessica Tisch, has agreed to remain in the post, a major coup for the incoming mayor as he moves to assuage concerns over his past criticisms of the New York Police Department.

Zohran Mamdani, 34, won New York City’s election for mayor on Nov. 5. The BBC reported that this win makes Mamdani the youngest person in over a century to lead the largest city in the United States.

The UFC doesn’t seem to care very much when brawls break out between their fighters, but the mayor of New York is taking an interest in the brawl that broke out at UFC 322 and has vowed to take action.
