U.S. women's national team star Trinity Rodman said she is interested in leaving the NWSL to play for a team in Europe sometime in the future, which would make her the latest in a long list of international teammates who have made the move across the Atlantic Ocean.

A move to another country could be in the cards for Washington Spirit and U.S. Women’s National Team forward Trinity Rodman, she said this week. But the 22-year-old said she isn’t in any rush to leave the District of Columbia.

Washington Spirit star Trinity Rodman has said that playing abroad is a matter of when, not if. Rodman's future will be an increasingly large topic as the year goes on, as her current deal with the Spirit expires at the end of the 2025 season.
