INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re tracking a risk for severe storms into Thursday evening and night. Then, much colder air settles in for the weekend. A ***Tornado Watch*** remains in effect until 9 PM. Thursday night: Threat for strong to severe storms remains with us into tonight.

A 10TV Weather Impact Alert Day has been issued for Thursday night, Feb. 19, for possible strong to severe storms into early Friday.

The severe weather threat has ended, but rain showers remain in place.

MONROE COUNTY, Ind. — The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF2 tornado touched down Thursday night during severe weather storms in Monroe County. NWS surveyed damage from the storm on Friday,

The west side of Bloomington was hit by a suspected tornado around 7 p.m. Feb. 20. There were multiple hail and wind damage reports across the state, but the tornado damage and sightings were mainly south of Interstate 70. Following along below for the latest Weather Impact Alert updates:

On Friday the northern half of Alabama will have a Level 1 out of 5 (marginal) risk for severe weather. The weather service thinks that if any severe storms develop it would be from late Friday night into Saturday morning. Areas that could be affected include Huntsville, Muscle Shoals, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Gadsden, among others.
