A deadly explosion struck the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in Homs, Syria, on Friday, killing at least eight people and injuring 18 others. The attack targeted the Alawite minority in the Wadi al-Dhahab neighbourhood during Friday prayers.
One person was killed late Monday when a motorcycle rigged with explosives blew up in Al-Bukamal city in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province, local media said.
