An 8-inch valve burst Wednesday afternoon, sending enough water to fill 10 Olympic-sized swimming pools into the streets of the Old West End.
Cindy Mossuto, of Dixmoor, could not flush toilets, shower or wash dishes for 15 hours at her Smith Mobile Home Park home.
