By Daniel Trotta WASHINGTON (Reuters) -LGBTQ+ people and supporters from around the world marched through the streets of Washington on Saturday in a joyful celebration meant to show defiance of President Donald Trump's rollback of queer rights.

The parade is among a number of festivities taking place throughout Washington this weekend. This year is also the 50th anniversary of D.C.’s Pride celebrations.

Marchers in Washington celebrated LGBTQ+ pride with vibrant displays near the White House, simultaneously protesting President Trump's rollback of queer rights. Thousands gathered to protect existing rights while highlighting military representations.
