Angel Reese has embraced the point-forward label she gained entering her second season with the Chicago Sky, living up to coach Tyler Marsh’s vision.

The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever headlined the Sunday slate with a rivalry matchup. The Fever entered the game fresh off a victory over the Las Vegas Aces while the Sky were riding a four-game losing streak, struggling to find success under head coach Tyler Marsh.

Over the last week, the buzz surrounding Chicago Sky star Angel Reese potentially being suspended has been loud. She is just one technical away currently from facing a mandatory one-game suspension.

The Chicago Sky returned from the All-Star break Tuesday night and suffered a blowout 91–68 loss to the league-best Minnesota Lynx, marking their fourth and final matchup against the Lynx this season.

The Storm stayed ahead of Chicago throughout the game, taking a 39-26 halftime lead and never looking back. The team was led by Skylar Diggins, who had 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks. She also shot 7-of-14 overall, 3-of-6 from three-point range and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

Angel Reese entered the All-Star break playing the best basketball of her young career, but was unable to pick up where she left off in the Chicago Sky's first game back on Tuesday, a 91-68 loss to the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.

The Sky lost their fifth straight game to the Fever, and Tyler Marsh needs to get more out of his 6-foot-7 center.
