The New York Knicks haven’t been playing their best basketball through the first two games of their postseason series against the Detroit Pistons, but they head into Thursday night’s Game 3 in Detroit with the series tied at one game apiece.

Karl-Anthony Towns failed to build off his strong Game 1 performance that included 23 points on 10-for-14 shooting, five assists and zero turnovers. He finished Game 2 with just 10 points and didn’t record a single assist. Even worse: he didn’t score a single point in the game’s second half.
