The Powerball jackpot is only growing, even after taxes. After no winners were drawn over the weekend, the lottery's estimated jackpot, which hit a $2 billion record three years ago, has now expanded to an estimated sum of $426 million, according to the Powerball website.

More than 515,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million, the lottery said.
