The Southwest Michigan native and flamethrowing left-handed pitcher was selected in the 11th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, allowing for an opportunity to become a future big leaguer.

Jake Casey, son of Sean Casey, played his college ball at Kent State. He was selected Monday in the 15th round of the MLB draft.
