To celebrate 34 years since its inception in 1991, Hennessey has turned yet another Mustang into a supercar-scaring monster.

Unsurprisingly, the modifications begin under the hood, where the Hennessey horsepower gurus conjure up an additional 350 horsepower for a total of 850, a 70 percent increase over

W ell known American tuner John Hennessey has revealed a new addition to his company’s line up, a beast called the Super Venom. Based on the Ford Mustang V8, the Super Venom boasts outputs of 633kW of power and 881Nm of torque - and is covered by a factory Ford warranty as well.

The Super Venom makes 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, which Hennessey points out that those are boosts of 70 and 55 percent respectively over the stock Mustang Dark Horse the car is based on .

Hennessey has done that thing again where it takes a fast car and makes it even faster, subjecting the Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse models to outrageous amounts of power. New total? That’ll be around 850bhp - 46 more than the ‘Ring record-setting GTD - plus 650lb ft.

Hennessey will make 91 Mustangs to Super Venom spec, as that was the year the company was founded, all offered with a ‘91 Icon Livery in black, silver or red. The interior gets new leather, suede and badging, including each build’s individual serial number.
