Windows 11's Spotlight feature is a pretty nice way to jazz up your desktop background with different wallpapers and fun facts when you hover over the image icon.
Spotlight plugins that allow app files to appear in search are sandboxed by Apple and heavily restricted from accessing sensitive files, but Microsoft found a way around that.
I can connect and search a Windows drive, but I don't think Spotlight is indexing file contents (or just plain indexing). Can it do this? And how? Thanks.
Windows doesn't have a default search tool as good as Apple's Spotlight. This app fixes that.
