Trailing 19-16 after one quarter, BYU outscored the Dons 49-13 in the middle quarters to advance to the title game. Earlier Monday, the Zags struggled to a 72-62 win over Santa Clara.

Up by 39-26 at halftime, the Zags scored the first 12 points of the third quarter to take a 51-26 lead and began to look ahead to Saturday’s big game at BYU.
