Chandler Parsons had some huge praise for Cade Cunningham, who delivered another masterclass against the Boston Celtics.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won NBA MVP last year and led a star-laden Thunder team to its first title in Oklahoma City. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are the star tandem in Denver, while Luka Doncic has LeBron James and Austin Reaves by his side on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Cade Cunningham’s two-way rise with the Pistons highlights elite defense, growing offense, and a championship-focused mindset.
Cade Cunningham is off to a fabulous start for Detroit Pistons. For that, he and coach J.B. Bickerstaff earned NBA awards for October and November.
The setback occurred first for Cunningham during the Pistons’ November 10 win over the Washington Wizards in overtime. Cunningham checked in for 44 minutes, shooting 14-45 from the field, scoring 46 points. He logged a double-double by accounting for 11 assists and came up with five steals and two blocks on the defensive end of the floor.
It was a physical battle between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, but the Detroit Pistons, behind Cade Cunningham, were able to defeat the Boston Celtics on Peacock NBA Monday.
