Pro Bowl, Joe Burrow and Bengals
On one hand, Burrow is getting $55 million per year. On the other hand, he might have to watch more than a few quality teammates come and go as the Bengals struggle to put enough talent around him to get the Bengals the first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
Pittsburgh Steelers fans aren't impressed with quarterback Russell Wilson's 10th Pro Bowl appearance. For almost two months, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson was back.
Wilson was named to the all-star event as a replacement for Buffalo's Josh Allen while New England rookie Drake Maye was named as a replacement for Lamar Jackson. Both Jackson and Allen cited injuries as reasons for missing the festivities. Former Texans star JJ Watt, a five-time Pro Bowl edge, openly wondered what, exactly, is going on.
Despite the losses, Wilson played some good football, which has warranted him a trip to the Pro Bowl. The Steelers quarterback is now a 10-time Pro Bowler but has now been voted in since the 2021 season when he was still part of the Seattle Seahawks.
Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud declined his invite, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN reports. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix isn’t going because of the transverse process fracture in his back that he played through at the end of the season, Mike Klis of 9News reports.
That list might have included Denver Broncos rookie Bo Nix.

Patriots’ rookie quarterback Drake Maye was selected to the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl replacing Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson. Maye stands as the sole representative for the Patriots in the Pro Bowl as nobody else from New England was selected.
