We are still tracking scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, with heavy rain being the main threat across the area. Cities to the north and east of Orlando will have the best chance of rain.

The Fourth of July will likely be a wet one for Central Florida as another day is forecast with a high chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Some leftover tropical moisture will lead to thunderstorm development during the weekend. Our best chance of rain on Saturday will come during the evening. No severe weather is expected, but we are tracking pockets of possible heavy rain.
