Newly-signed Los Angeles running back Najee Harris was a top target for the Wolverines when Harbaugh was the head coach at Michigan.

A year after leaving the Chargers as a salary-cap casualty, Mike Williams is eager to work alongside Justin Herbert and be a deep-ball threat for the team.

Harris, 27, signed a one-year deal with the Chargers earlier this week and said that Harbaugh was a driving force in his decision. "He's the same guy, man," Harris said. "He's always energetic, man. He's always the life of the party, so he's just a good guy to be around, down to earth, and he makes you feel comfortable."
