The New York Jets have been linked to a surprising quarterback trade that would add competition for Justin Fields.

Justin Fields connected with a wide-open Garrett Wilson on a long pass on the fifth pass of the first-team period Wednesday. Fields went 5-of-8 in team drills and the deep ball was the highlight of the day. Second-year WR Malachi Corley practiced on Wednesday after missing much of the spring, but he had a bad drop on a pass from QB Brady Cook.
