The Indianapolis Colts saw Daniel Jones go down for the season with an Achilles injury -- and if you don't have a grip on how dire their quarterback situation is, they inked 44-year-old Philip Rivers to a contract in hopes of saving their season.

Two players — running back Emari Demercado and rookie defensive lineman Walter Nolen — return to the lineup. Demercado missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain. Nolen missed the last two with a knee injury. WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

The Cardinals activated second-year tackle Christian Jones. He had been on IR all season. With left tackle Paris Johnson out this week and Jonah Williams on injured reserve, it is possible he will start against the Texans. Either Jones or rookie Josh Fryar will start at one tackle spot with Kelvin Beachum on the other side.
