As part of the Battlefield 6 reveal event today, EA and Battlefield Studios released a multiplayer trailer for the game, and it delivered the goods. The conclusion of the core part of the stream also confirmed Battlefield 6's release date is set for October 10.

While there have been some solid stories in the Battlefield franchise, the main draw for many fans is the sprawling multiplayer matches, which were the focus of today's new trailer and livestreamed event.

Though there wasn’t any mention of single player at this event, we not only learned a lot about what this installment’s multiplayer is all about, but we also got a chance to play some of the multiplayer modes for a few hours with a few hundred creators and media alike.
