While an MRI showed "relatively good news" on right-hander Kodai Senga's hamstring strain, the major league leader in ERA is still set to miss at least a month, manager Carlos Mendoza indicated.

Kodai Senga’s hamstring strain is Grade 1, the least severe, meaning the right-hander will be shut down for about the next two weeks before being re-evaluated and ramped up to return. This places Senga’s timeline to be back in the Mets’ rotation in the second half of July.
