Frustrations boiled over after Miami's heartbreaking loss to Indiana in the College Football Playoff National Championship

Fernando Mendoza bulldozed his way into the end zone and Indiana bullied its way into the history books Monday night.

Miami Hurricanes running back Mark Fletcher Jr. was caught on camera throwing what appears to be a punch at Indiana’s Tyrique Tucker after the Hoosiers’ 27-21 win for the College Football Playoff championship on Monday night. Cameras saw an interaction between the two players. Tucker looks to throw a punch and and had to be held back.

Following a heartbreaking, 27-21 loss to Indiana in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night, Miami head coach Mario Cristobal gave his thoughts in an interview outside the locker room.

Indiana completed the first 16-0 season in college football history after defeating Miami 27-21 in the CFP National Championship. With the win, the Hoosiers rightfully ended as the No. 1 team in the final AP Top 25 poll for the first time in program history. Indiana defeated Alabama, Oregon and Miami en route to the title.

The Hoosier defense has been dominating throughout the CFP and is a major reason for the team's run to the CFP championship game.

Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck commented Monday night on the game-ending interception he threw in a 27-21 loss to the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

As it turns out, he wasn't the only Hoosier hero spurned by his hometown Hurricanes. Up by six points in the final seconds, Indiana cornerback Jamari Sharpe -- also a Miami-area native -- intercepted Carson Beck to seal Indiana's first national title.
