On Sunday, the 3M Open featured the strange combination of low scoring and lowered voices. Perhaps because of the heat and the lack of established star power on the leaderboard, Minnesota golf fans seemed strangely reserved.

Kitayama carded 20 birdies on the weekend, the most birdies or better made on the weekend by a Tour winner since 2003, and finished with a 72-hole total of 23-under 261 for his second PGA Tour title.

While the 2025 3M Open's winner does take home the top prize, every player manages to go home with some money in their pocket.

With a clutch par on the 72nd hole, the 32-year-old Californian earned a one-stroke win at the 3M Open in Minnesota.
