Preakness Stakes featured a field of nine horses competing on a dirt track at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore for a distance of 1 3/16 miles, all vying for the prestigious Middle Jewel title.

The 150th running of the Preakness Stakes belongs to Journalism! The Michael McCarthy-trained thoroughbred pulled off an incredible comeback to chase down long-shot Gosger down the home stretch,

The win also means a massive payday for jockey Umberto Rispoli, trainer Michael McCarthy and the large ownership group of Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners as they'll split up the $1.2 million prize money (80% to the owners and 10% each to the trainer and jockey).
