HOUSTON — A deadly early morning crash has shut down all eastbound mainlanes and an exit ramp on Highway 290 just before the I-10 direct connector, according to the Houston Police Department.

The Buckeyes won the first title in the first year of the 12-team playoff, defeating Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and Notre Dame in the final.

The child has several injuries, but they are expected to recover. The Henderson County Crimes Against Children Task Force is investigating.
