HBO host Bill Maher had some harsh words for the co-hosts of “The View” on Monday. While interviewing actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore on his “Club Random” podcast, Maher admitted he doesn’t think that the five women who host the ABC show are the best spokespeople for the female perspective.

Maher criticized the ABC talk show during a recent episode of Club Random with Drew Barrymore. While Maher acknowledged that he’s “friendly” with The View hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and has had a good time appearing on the show himself, he is not a fan of The View ‘s format, which has become increasingly political.
