“Mufasa: The Lion King” is coming home. The Barry Jenkins-directed epic, which serves as both a prequel and sequel to 2019’s reimagined “The Lion King,” will debut on Disney+ March 26.

Helmed by “Moonlight” and “If Beale Street Could Talk” director Barry Jenkins, “Mufasa: The Lion King” tells the story of how lost cub Mufasa becomes the leader of the Pride Lands.
