Ukraine and Russia are expected to hold their first direct peace talks since the weeks following Moscow’s full-scale invasion three years ago, but little is known aside from the date and the place: May 15 in Istanbul.

Turkey is ready to host peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul again, President Tayyip Erdogan told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in a phone call on Sunday, Erdogan's office said.
