Tilak Varma's brilliant 72 not out guided India to a thrilling two-wicket victory over England on Saturday, handing the hosts a 2-0 lead in the five-match Twenty20 International series. India successfully chased down 166 with four balls to spare after the visitors set a competitive total of 165-9.

India seized a 2-0 win in their five-match T20 series against England as they won by two wickets in Chennai. India won the toss and chose to bowl first, with England scoring 165-9 with high scores of 45 from Jos Buttler and 31 from Brydon Carse.

Brydon Carse's efforts with with bat and ball are in vain as England suffer a two-wicket defeat to India in the second T20 international.

The second T20 between India and England is now underway. As confirmed by the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the T20 series due to injury. Shivam Dube is likely to replace him for the remainder of the series.
